When fate becomes the beginning of something new On Friday, October 16, 2026, the newly founded association Burning 4 Life – Cross-section | Life | Adventure invites you to an extraordinary evening at the Kulturhalle Gröbming. The association is supported by Walter Seebacher and his three adult children Benita, Lucas, and Julian, who aim to inspire courage, open perspectives, and connect people. Since a life-changing bicycle accident four years ago, Walter Seebacher has been paraplegic from the neck down and relies on support in daily life. However, giving up was never an option for him; instead, he faces his changed life with curiosity, joy, and new visions. Starting at 6 p.m., you can enjoy a relaxed beginning in the foyer with a bar and the extraordinary band MUNDWERK from Bruck an der Mur. The musicians impress with their special talent and provide an equally touching and lively reception. At 7:30 p.m., the official part begins, where Walter shares personal insights into his life, experiences, and the goals of the association. As a highlight, he welcomes three remarkable guests on stage who, despite paraplegia, have achieved extraordinary things and discovered new paths for themselves. Their stories vividly demonstrate that a stroke of fate can be a turning point, but never the end of all possibilities. Look forward to an authentic, inspiring, and musically accompanied evening that touches, provokes reflection, and offers new energy for life.
