What's it about?
For more than 50 years, the legendary band from the USA has been known for an explosive mix of rock, funk, soul, blues, and metal, powerful, precise, and unmistakable. The band made music history with their spectacular Rockpalast performance in 1978. The energetic show was considered revolutionary at the time and significantly changed the perception of funk-rock. To this day, this concert remains one of the great highlights in Rockpalast history. On their current tour, this extraordinary musical event is being celebrated appropriately. As pioneers of funk-rock, MOTHERS FINEST influenced numerous artists and bands. Prince was also a great admirer and friend of the band. Their concerts are still much more than nostalgic retrospectives: the band plays with undiminished passion, enormous force, and a stage presence that captivates the audience from the first note. Led by the outstanding voices of Joyce Kennedy and Glenn Murdock, two exceptional guitarists, Gary "Moses Mo" Moore and John Hayes, are on stage. The powerful rhythm section is provided by bassist Jerry "Wyzard" Seay and drummer Riesha Fayson. The band is supported by two strong backing singers. Organizer is Direct Booking Berlin / Tekknobase Prod. in cooperation with the Kunst- und Kulturhaus Öblarn.
