
Our classic scheduled trips generally take place on all Sundays from July 5th to September 6th. The trips start at Vordernberg Markt station, pass Präbichl, and end at Erzberg station. During the stop at Erzberg station, there is also the option to take a Hauly ride (except on 12.7.2026). Advance registration is mandatory! The route is truly unique: Over eight brick viaducts - up to 32 meters high and 117 meters long - and through five tunnels with a total length of 2.5 kilometers, the train winds with gradients of up to 71 per mille around and through the Styrian Erzberg. High above the rooftops of the villages and almost everywhere far from public roads. The highest railway station in Styria, Präbichl station at 1204 meters above sea level, is touched by the Erzbergbahn as well as the Raumsauklamm near Eisenerz.
