The Krippenmuseum Eisenerz invites you on a fascinating journey through the world of nativity scene art. In a historic residential and craftsman's house on Bergmannplatz, visitors can expect an extraordinary collection that goes far beyond the Christmas story and impressively reflects the close connection of faith, craftsmanship, and mining in the region. On three floors, visitors discover artfully designed nativity scenes from different eras and styles. Highlights include the impressive miner's nativity scene with Erzberg minerals, the panorama nativity scene with scenes from public life and local history, and a lovingly designed petting nativity scene that especially invites children to discover and touch. A recreated Erzberg tunnel in the cellar vault connects the Christmas story in a special way with the centuries-old mining tradition of Eisenerz.
