At the Mineralienmuseum Eisenerz, visitors can expect an impressive journey into the world of minerals and crystals. The museum is located in a lovingly revitalized 15th-century building in the historic old town and uniquely combines historical architecture with modern exhibition design. During the guided tour, you will discover extraordinary treasures from the depths of the Styrian Erzberg – including the famous white and blue iron blossoms, delicate needle aragonites, and the largest cinnabar crystal ever found on the Erzberg. The exhibition is complemented by valuable finds from the Alpine region and other parts of Europe, as well as artfully crafted iron blossom boxes, which were once painstakingly handmade by miners.
