What's it about?
Following the television film Vera und Uli, which was awarded the Grimme-Preis and the Golden Camera — once a couple, now divorced and estranged — only their old house, where they raised their daughters and which now, fully furnished, appears as a relic of past happiness, connects them. Vera has now decided to close this chapter for good and sell the house. She only wants to take a few mementos. Uli, on the other hand, arrives with a van and his new partner Johanna. Vera's partner Darius also appears; he has secretly followed her. It quickly becomes clear: the wounds of the past are far from healed. Every room, every piece of furniture, every photograph evokes memories — of their shared failure, unfulfilled hopes, and love lost in everyday life. A quiet struggle for interpretation, for guilt and forgiveness, and for the right to a new beginning unfolds between Vera and Uli. Directed by Johannes Pfeifer.
