Nordic Walking from Middle Age Onwards

Nordic Walking from Middle Age Onwards

Monday 9 November · 09:11Bräuter Teiche · steiermark

What's it about?

Nordic Walking is a joint-friendly endurance sport that is particularly suitable for people in middle age and beyond: The technique with poles relieves knees and hips, simultaneously activates arm and shoulder muscles, and gently strengthens the cardiovascular system. The groups meet twice a week – Mondays at 9:00 AM and Fridays at 2:00 PM – at Bräuer Teiche in Mürzzuschlag. The routes lead through the natural surroundings of the Styrian town, which lies at the foot of the Semmering and is known for its mild climate and wooded environment. Participation is free and led by experienced local guides. No special prior knowledge is required – the offer is explicitly suitable for beginners and re-entrants who want to be active together at a calm pace.
