Big melodies, gripping groove and overflowing virtuosity – the small Egerländer ensemble – The Original (DKEB for short) delights its audience with an unmistakable sound full of depth and expression. Rooted in the long tradition of Egerländer music and refined with modern influences, a soundscape emerges that touches, captivates and resonates for a long time. The eight soloists of DKEB combine their experiences from numerous successful formations – from Moop Mama and Alpenblech to Kapelle So&So and Obermüller Musikanten to the "Sing meinen Song" band and, of course, the great Original Egerländer Musikanten. The musicians play completely from memory and deliberately without technical amplification – an intimate, unadulterated unplugged concert experience that makes the special intensity of this formation palpable. The DKEB lineup unites outstanding soloists in their field: Trumpet and flugelhorn: Martin Hutter, Christoph Moschberger, Sebastian Höglauer Drums: Stephan Hutter Tuba: Peter Laib Accordion: Maximilian Obermüller Tenor horn & baritone: Alexander Wurz & Michael Müller With this unique mix, DKEB is causing a stir in the brass music cosmos and proves, especially live: Their music goes straight to the heart, captivates the audience and remains a catchy tune in the head for a long time.
