What's it about?

What do trees need to grow? A suitable location – which is largely determined by the forest soil. It provides nutrients and water, and countless small and micro-organisms contribute to the nutrient cycle. Our trees have different requirements for water and nutrients. The forest soil thus determines the tree species. Questions and answers: During the forest walk, we will explore the secrets of the forest soil: What is hidden in the depths, what clues do wise plants give us – and which tree species is suitable here? Women forest owners and managers, successors, and all interested women and girls are welcome to participate. Participation is free. Registration is required by September 23. Children are very welcome (please register them as well). The meeting point will be announced in due time. Please bring weatherproof clothing and suitable footwear. Afterwards, there will be a small snack.
