29 years of DIE JUNGEN TENÖRE – THE YOUNG TENORS voices that connect In 1997, they were looking for a tenor to sing the theme song of the TV show Herzblatt (Heart's Desire). But instead of a single singer, three candidates impressed so much that a completely new formation was spontaneously created: DIE JUNGEN TENÖRE were born. What started as a surprise back then developed into an impressive success story. For now 29 years, DIE JUNGEN TENÖRE have been touching and inspiring people with their music – a feat that no one would have expected. Perhaps one would even have removed the word 'young' from the name. "But we are young at heart," says Ilja Martin, the charming curly-haired singer and now the 'longest-serving singer' among the Young Tenors. Together with Carlos Sanchez and Matthias Eger, he forms not only a harmonious trio on stage but also shares a close friendship offstage. This special bond is felt in every note and every joint performance. With dedication, humor, and a unique singing style, they continue their success story.
