Kapelle So&So - A Musical Nativity Scene Story
What's it about?
"Auf Wiederkaun" – The Christmas story from the perspective of ox and donkey. Everyone knows the Christmas story – the journey to Bethlehem, the stable, the star, and the shepherds. But two quiet companions of this special night have rarely been in the spotlight: ox and donkey. In the musical nativity story "Auf Wiederkaun," they finally take center stage. The author and actor Huber Wast tells the well-known story from a new, surprising perspective – humorously, touching, and thought-provoking. How do the two stable inhabitants experience the hustle and bustle around the census? What do they think when their modest stable suddenly becomes the setting of a world event? And what role do they themselves play on this special night? With fine wit, lively language, and atmospheric music, an extraordinary Advent experience unfolds, blending storytelling, folk music, and Christmas atmosphere. A loving and at the same time tongue-in-cheek approach to the Christmas story – newly told, familiar and suitable for the reflective season.
