What's it about?
"Among all dialects of the German language, the most beautiful one is found in Austria." This paraphrased quote by André Heller may be a matter of taste, but it is undisputed that this language is very colorful and expressive (for example, when translating the song "Besame, besame mucho" from the directly Prussian "Küss mich, küss mich vie-hi-hiel" into a more southern, more lyrical "Shush, shush, make it pretty good for me"). Notice it? Cool, right? This skill is mastered by the Styrian Anna Hiden, confidently in words and in tone, now brilliantly, and she regularly releases her own creative offspring into the wild of the open but tough market. So far, her promising musical collaboration with her three trusted partners has produced two and a half offspring in the form of "Herz oder Verstand" (2021), "Wenn" (2024), and the current, still unnamed band baby, which will appear on the Sounds of Servus label in 2027. In addition to regular airplay on ORF Radio Steiermark, the four-member formation will get its first big festival experience in 2026 at the legendary Woodstock of Brass Music. Their very personal original compositions range between catchy dialect-pop, funky Austro-soul, and heartfelt chansons, garnished with one or two down-to-earth Alpine touches. Their music is embedded in versatile, varied arrangements by three highly experienced gentlemen of sound creation, who together offer almost the entire spectrum of style and sound that can be studied at the University of Music Graz.
