The Styrian cabaret award winner is touring with his show and takes the audience on a humorous, touching, and surprisingly honest journey to one's own roots. Schlintl demonstrates with subtle humor how often we go in circles because we trust others' expectations more than our own inner voice. It’s about the search for authenticity — the MIR that we tend to ignore in everyday life. With pointed stories, he narrates brave steps, funny misunderstandings, and the absurd situations that arise when trying to be someone you are not. Stories from real life The cabaret artist reflects on his career choice, which led him — despite many detours — to become a trained installer. Why the last school year was a co-working space, why "Poly" was a hotspot school, and how the generation of the 80s was overwhelmed by the digital age: smartwatches, robot vacuum cleaners, extreme sports — nothing is spared, everything is dissected with loving irony. Who is actually MIR? "MIR is fine. To ME or to you. Not so important to MIR. It will be okay with MIR." But who is this MIR? Schlintl shows how often decisions are influenced from outside — and how liberating it is to rediscover one's own MIR. Statements like "You can't do that" or "Are you sure?" ultimately became the engine of his personal journey. Today, he stands on stage gratefully — after many detours, experiences, and brave steps.
