Der Tunnelblick: Koroška – Steiermark / Kärnten – Štajerska / Styria - Carinthia

What's it about?

In reference to the planned opening of the Koralm Tunnel in 2026, Pavelhaus is conceptualizing the exhibition "Der Tunnelblick - von Hubschraubern Erinnerung und viel Sprachlichkeit" in which artists from both Styrias and Carinthia engage in an artistic discourse with the new connection between the two federal states. At the same time, the exhibition will explore the historical and cultural connections between the two federal states and which gaps in memory still exist. Together with the Graz Initiative for Peace and Neutrality (GIFFUN) and the Nagasaki-Brescia Kaki Tree Project for Europe association, a Kaki tree will be planted in the garden of Pavelhaus as a symbol of peace. Admission free.
