For over 25 years, "Khünegger Landleb'n" has celebrated culture, tradition, and culinary delights in memory of local poet Fred Strohmeier. Under the motto "Experience the richness of poverty," visitors can expect folk music, theater, literature, and delicacies from grandma's kitchen. Readings under the pear tree, atmospheric music, and regional specialties make the festival a special experience. The day begins with a hike on Strohmeier's school path and a memorial mass in the Strohmeier family's courtyard. Music will be provided by, among others, the Orig. fidelen Neujorgeiger, the AltBadSeer Musi, and Stawiz. Sepp Loibner, Karl Oswald, and Elfi Groß will shape the literary program. This year, the play "Da Dorf-Gendarm" by Franz Gombocz will be on stage. The festival is organized by the Khünegg Volunteer Fire Department with around 60 volunteer helpers - a festival not to be missed!
