He leads the Think Tank Academia Superior, is deputy chair of the Austrian Bioethics Commission, a board member of the Vienna Science, Research and Technology Fund, and was a member of the Council for Research and Technology Development and the University Council of Johannes Kepler University Linz for 10 years.
