Heimschuh, Styria
Hazelnut oil, tiger nut oil, rapeseed oil, walnut oil, snack kernels, vinegar, fine spirits, honey, and of course the black gold of Styria – the pumpkin seed oil – can be tasted at Heimschuh in the Ölmühle Hartlieb. There is a guided tour of the mill, including insights into the production process. The glass door is easily recognizable for people with visual impairments, and the entrance is barrier-free, making it accessible for wheelchair users, as are the sales and production areas. The museum room on the first floor can only be reached via stairs; however, the staff is committed to providing excellent service to guests. Therefore, advance registration is requested. The barrier-free toilets (separate for women and men) are accessible via a partially barrier-free ramp with an 8% incline. Analysis conducted in June 2016.
