"Sir" Oliver Mally & Peter Schneider may have the blues in their DNA, but they have long since broken its boundaries. Mally is a brilliant storyteller; his stories are always real and lived. He sings and plays his "own" blues. He is one of Central Europe's leading blues musicians and singer/songwriters. What Peter Schneider casually plucks from the guitar strings is a special treat. The class of the Munich guitarist can be heard in every note! The chemistry between Mally and Schneider has been fascinating for years, and their musical interaction on stage is a delight for the senses. The repertoire ranges from rousing blues numbers to poetically melancholic ballads. Always at the center: Mally's unadulterated storytelling and the dynamic of a well-rehearsed formation that not only plays the blues but lives it. This evening, Peter Lenz on drums and keyboard maestro Franz Kreimer will also join in as special guests. In different settings, proof will be provided that blues is by no means a genre of the past, but a timeless language that touches, moves, and transcends boundaries.
