As the days grow shorter and Advent unfolds its quiet magic, the Gossendorfer Krippenweg invites visitors to relax and experience the contemplative season mindfully. 63 lovingly crafted nativity scenes make the holiday destination Gossendorf a special nativity village – created by families, clubs, and people who want to show their connection to the region. Along the three circular routes – between 2.4 and 3.5 kilometers – red-marked stars guide the way to the unique nativity scenes. Each is a small work of art made from natural materials, including the mechanical fitness nativity scene, the fire brigade nativity scene, the knitted nativity scene, the musical nativity scene, and even a living nativity scene. The path is especially atmospheric in the evening hours – lantern light turns the walk into a warm, touching experience.
