With his extremely lifelike portrayal of Detective Trautmann, Kammerschauspieler Wolfgang Böck has written a piece of local TV history. A film character who has lost none of his incredible popularity even after numerous reruns. The Vienna police even respectfully appointed the audience favorite as "Honorary Cop". However, the new stage program "Trautmann lacht" aims to prove that daily police work is not only about murder, robbery and other cruel crimes. Funny anecdotes, actually happened but also written by great humorists, prove on the one hand the sometimes warm-hearted handling of curious incidents by the uniformed officers, but also that the law enforcement officers do not forbid themselves to laugh while on duty and can sometimes even laugh at themselves with a strong wink. In months of "criminalistic" fine-tuning, Wolfgang Böck has collected stories and anecdotes that not only guarantee 90 minutes of hearty laughter, but also offer a short but extremely interesting look into the history of law enforcement.
