Aliosha Biz - Ortstaxe
What's it about?
Directed by Omar Sarsam. After the great success of his first program "The Fiddler Without a Reputation", violinist and cabaret newcomer Aliosha Biz returns to the local cabaret stages with the program "ORTSTAXE". But what does "returns" mean? He never really left. He seamlessly picks up where he just left off. And his signature characters, such as the Eastern oligarch who advises Austrian politicians, or the Catholic priest from Burkina Faso who studied mechanical engineering in Petrozavodsk in his youth, Aliosha naturally takes with him on the journey. New additions include a strange philosopher who earns his living during the day at MA 48, or a disillusioned Cuban revolutionary who emigrates to Carinthia and wants to join the BZÖ. Whether all these characters will actually make it into the final version of the program, whether the Ortstaxe is only what one pays in addition to the hotel bill during a summer holiday, and whether it can only be settled with money, will be revealed at the end. Perhaps. Of course, there will still be music - Aliosha has, after all, never stopped being a fiddler!
