Krampuslauf in Fürstenfeld

What's it about?

On Saturday, November 21, 2026, Fürstenfeld will once again become a stronghold of tradition: the big Krampus run brings dark figures and exciting show effects to the city center from 6 p.m. Over 30 groups from all over Austria with around 400 Krampuses and Perchten will provide goosebumps and excitement for young and old. The route runs from Augustinerplatz via Bismarckstraße and Hauptstraße to Stadt Zug Platz. Unlike many other events of this kind, the run is NOT fenced off, offering visitors a particularly close and intense experience. Beverage stands along the route ensure the physical well-being. Admission is free, and as in previous years, thousands of visitors are expected to enjoy the spectacle in a pre-Christmas atmosphere.
