What's it about?

Doughnuts as far as the eye can see Over 50 homemade varieties and delicious specialties and rarities from the Joglland region invite to enjoy and taste. Culinary delights are highly valued in the Joglland - Waldheimat region, and the people here place great importance on the quality and regionality of the products. Everything revolves around the doughnut. At the big Krapfenkirtag, tasting and enjoying take center stage. In the Mönichwald Krapfen Map, about 180 different doughnut recipes have been collected — from A like Augengläserkrapfen (eyeglasses doughnut) — a recipe from 1837! — to Z like Zitronenkrapfen (lemon doughnut). A living tradition, practiced for many decades. Everyone in the village who wants and can participate must bake 100 pieces of a specific variety, and each year over 50 different types — from savory to sweet — are available for tasting.
