The Freizeitsee Mönichwald has an area of 7,500 square meters and is continuously fed with fresh spring water from the Hochwechsel. In addition to the swimming lake, there is also a beach volleyball court or pedal boats for rent. A playground provides variety for the small bathers. The lake has a depth of up to five meters and is also suitable for practice dives, but the equipment for this must be brought by yourself.
