What's it about?
COMEDY BY MARKUS HIRTLER AKA ERMI-OMA Markus Hirtler worked for more than 20 years as a nurse, care manager, home director, and social worker. He created the character Ermi-Oma to give a voice to the people who are not easily heard in our 'aging disposal society.' The award-winning comedian portrays the elderly resident of a nursing home lovingly, with depth and a lot of empathy. "My goal is to promote understanding between generations and to inspire appreciation for each other." LIVING SELF-EXPRESSED One can live self-expressed and die autonomously, but surely not inherit oneself. Or can one? Ermi-Oma suddenly comes into a huge sum of money through a 'coincidence.' What to do? The audience is invited to decide. A large-scale social study from Ermi-Oma's personal insights.
