Culinary Journey in the Museum: Table, Be Set
What's it about?
The beautifully set table, the festive goblet, the enchanting glass. This guided tour begins in the impressive "Food and Drink" room, symbolically setting the table for you in a short circuit and asking: How much history is in a successful meal? Among glasses, cutlery and plates, we ask about the history of food culture, which can largely be told through these beautiful and impressive objects. We explore other rooms of the museum, touching on medieval eating habits as well as viticulture in Styria. In the end, we might even land on the history of coffee and cocoa? The journey continues for you to the Landhauskeller restaurant. There, the table will not only be symbolically, but truly set for you! Meeting point: 4:00 PM at the Museum für Geschichte, Sackstraße 16. Tour approx. 45 minutes. Guided tours on the history of food culture. How people ate presentation of dishes and cutlery. At 5:00 PM, the table will be set for you at the Landhauskeller restaurant for a 3-course menu. (drinks not included) End: 6:15 PM
