Accompany shepherd Franz on a leisurely hike on the Hauser Kaibling and experience the fascinating world of sheep up close. Together with the experienced shepherd, you will walk along the SCHAFsinn circular trail, where you will gain exciting insights into traditional alpine farming, the sustainable grazing of the alpine pastures, and the lives of the approximately 800 sheep on the mountain. With a bit of luck, you might also meet the sheepdog and the entire flock of sheep along the way. During the approximately two-hour hike, Franz will share interesting facts about the work of a shepherd, the importance of sheep for ecological alpine and slope maintenance, as well as about alpine flora and local herbs. The leisurely tour is particularly suitable for families and nature lovers and takes place in all weather conditions.
