"Floating Dreams" Art Installation in Fürstenfeld

What's it about?

For the Water Biennale 2026 in Fürstenfeld, Anne Glassner and Luca Serasini are creating Floating Dreams, an immersive, performative installation that transfers the realm of dreams into public space. The starting point is a collection of water dreams that Anne Glassner has been archiving for years. These dreams are made accessible to visitors via old analogue floating telephones: whoever picks up the receiver dives into poetic soundscapes between memory, imagination and the subconscious. The telephones, also placed in the changing room or in the city, function as interfaces between waking and dream worlds - as fragile connections that open up individual and collective spaces of experience.
