What's it about?
Punitz Airfield - Running and walking where planes usually take off and land. As part of the European Week of Sport, the #BeActive Night will take place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. With RUN THE RUNWAY, the runway at Punitz Airfield becomes a very special running and walking track. Under the motto "Movement, Community, Enthusiasm", we invite you to experience the airfield from a completely different perspective. From 5:30 PM, the runway belongs to the sports-enthusiastic public. Whether one or more laps are completed running or walking - the number of laps, pace, and fitness do not matter. Participation is free and possible without registration. From 1:00 PM, sports-enthusiastic participants and spectators are warmly welcome at Punitz Airfield.
