He was a poet and a writer – creating wonderfully atmospheric miniatures about suburban prostitutes in Meidling in the 1960s, Greece, the legendary time announcement, relationship crises and boxes, but also cabaret-like, incredibly popular, sometimes obscene 'schweinigelnde' joke and fun songs. This work has made Georg Danzer one of the most important representatives of the legendary Austropop of the 1970s. His incredibly charming charisma, charm, and humor still resonate today, even in modern hipster communities.
