Thursday 15 April · 19:30Stadtsaal Güssing (ehm. Kino Güssing) · burgenland

What's it about?

Franz Roitner is a trained safari guide and spends around three months each year in the wilderness areas of Southern Africa. In his live lecture, he takes the audience on special encounters in the African bush. He also tells many of these stories in his podcast "Der Safari Guide". In it, he regularly introduces individual animal species and their extraordinary abilities. - Why are zebras striped? - How does a cheetah accelerate to 100 km/h in just three seconds? - How can a tiny insect be louder than a jackhammer? Whether Nile crocodile, lion or elephant, whether snake, bird or insect \u2013 every animal has its own story. Some are exciting, some touching and some so unusual that they almost sound made up. "Franz Roitner \u2013 Der Safari Guide" combines entertaining safari knowledge with impressive pictures and personal experiences. Look forward to a varied evening full of surprises.
