What's it about?
For young plumber Peter, life couldn't be better: He loves his job, his home in Burgenland – and especially his girlfriend Anna. But suddenly everything is turned upside down: Anna wants to move to Vienna for her studies and ends the relationship. For Peter, a turbulent journey begins between heartbreak, love of home, and the big question: Stay in the countryside or start anew together in the city? While Peter tries to get his life back on track, Sören, a North German millionaire heir, finds himself in Austria. Shortly before his first day at his father's investment firm, he flees – and ends up with Nanni, a lively South Burgenlander with her own nail and life coaching studio - and a very special talent for turbulent dates. And then there's Penka, a Viennese woman with Bulgarian roots, who, caught between her mother's expectations and her own ideas about life, tries to finally find the right man. Five friends, love, life, and the question: Where am I at home? The Burgenland musical with 15 brand new songs penned by Butz & Reineke. With great verve, wit, emotion, and surprising twists, the audience can expect a captivating musical. An evening to laugh, empathize, and sing along – straight from life, straight to the heart.
