Martiniloben with Wine Blessing

What's it about?

As the year comes to an end and cellars are filled with young wines, it is time again for a piece of lived tradition: Martiniloben at Weingut Koch. On Saturday, November 7th, starting at 4:00 PM, there will be a free young wine tasting, followed by the ceremonial wine blessing at 5:00 PM with Professor Wilfried Salber and Deacon Alfred Resetar. On Sunday, November 8th, tasting will be available again from 1:30 PM to 5:00 PM, in a relaxed atmosphere with homemade regional delicacies. According to old tradition, winegrowers would go from cellar to cellar at Martin (St. Martin's Day) to taste the young wines. Today, we are pleased to continue this tradition with wines that not only showcase the quality of the vintage but also reflect our passion for sustainability.
