On the Day of Monument, historical sites throughout Austria will once again open their doors to families, culture enthusiasts, and monument experts free of charge. The aim of this Austria-wide action day is to strengthen awareness for the preservation and careful maintenance of our cultural heritage.In Kobersdorf, this day is dedicated to two significant buildings whose history and function are closely linked to the town. A guided tour will vividly convey the cultural-historical significance of the former Kobersdorf Synagogue and Kobersdorf Castle, which is located directly opposite.The tour invites visitors to learn about the different historical layers of both buildings, to understand their eventful use, and to discover their importance in the cultural memory of the region.Synagogue opening hours: 1:00 PM - 4:00 PMGuides: Dr. Anna Schlanitz, Mag.
