About lions, cats, bulls, and other animals In December, the Liszt Center transforms into a menagerie for one of the most beloved classics of music history: "Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saëns — a family concert for big and small ears and for everyone who loves to laugh. The exquisite instrumental ensemble around violinist Verena Stourzh brings the animal characters to life with wit, familiar melodies, and exuberant joy of playing. In "Ferdinand the Bull," Stourzh also showcases her virtuoso side with a brilliant violin solo.
