What's it about?

Krowodnrock concert on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Volksgruppengesetz (ethnic group law) So, not yet retired after all? On the contrary: Bruji are still going strong! 46 years after the release of their first LP "Gemma Krowodn schaun," one wonders what happened back in 1980. Why did a band name their debut album like that? The intention of the "Godfathers of Krowodnrock" remains: to counteract the assimilation and language loss among young Croats. And above all: to recognize, live by, and pass on the value of bilingualism and multilingualism! Bruji still hold a Krowodnrock torch in one hand, but have already passed the other to younger generations: such as Kacavida and Elektrikeri. Both acts will be heard this evening. Kacavida, full of energy, is reactivated, and Elektrikeri presents new material! The Carinthian-Slovenian band Balis will grace us again at KUGA – on the road for more than 25 years in the name of rock and roll! A musical gem of intercultural understanding...
