What's it about?

The Duo Respiro - Alexander Yuzhanin and Yurii Tiulpin - a classical guitar duo from Eisenstadt, surprises in its concerts with great stylistic and sonic flexibility. Whether Rameau, Haydn, Granados or Piazzolla - intimate musical moments meet fascinating and captivating guitar technique. Both musicians are also successfully touring as soloists and can point to numerous prizes at international guitar competitions in Austria, Hungary, Serbia and Italy. As Duo Respiro, the two guitarists won 1st prize at the national competition Prima la Musica 2025 and were also awarded the Jenő Takacs Scholarship by the State of Burgenland. The duo's active concert schedule includes appearances at the Pink Ribbon Gala at Schloss Esterházy, at 60 Hours of Music on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of the Oberschützen Institute, and at gala concerts as part of the Rust Guitar Festival 2025 and 2026. At the Salon Concert "Saitenklänge" in the Haydn-Haus, the two musicians take us on a musical journey through the guitar repertoire of almost 4 centuries. Works by Rameau and Händel, Haydn and Giuliani, to Granados, Albéniz and Bellinati will be heard - solo and in duo.Duration: approx. 75 minutesRegistration required!
