What's it about?

From posthumanist feminism to old-school pop: Lyhre blurs the lines between theater and concert. Dark, fearless, and genre-defying, Lyhre deconstructs themes like power and demonstrates her own understanding of pop, which attracts early international interest. With her debut, the multi-instrumentalist, composer, and singer-songwriter contributed music to the Netflix series "Elite" and was recognized for her cinematic quality in subsequent works, including the Cannes soundtrack. Classically trained, she composes and produces her own sound with influences from alternative, industrial, and baroque music, and her lyrics also challenge normative understandings against the backdrop of posthumanist and feminist theories. Whether in her songs, performing headfirst on stage, or composing entire soundtracks for theater productions, her work is hard to categorize but increasingly leaves marks on the music landscape. Her work is regularly discussed by critics at theaters such as Volksbühne Berlin or the Staatsschauspiel Dresden, and she received high praise for her musical direction and live performance in the production "Neometropolis" at Stadttheater Gießen. International tastemakers like Metal Magazine and Earmilk also name her as an emerging artist who "pushes boundaries and ushers in a new era of alternative." The Hamburger Abendblatt highlights Lyhre as a "real discovery" during the Reeperbahn Festival 2025. This recognition culminates in her live performances. From raw theatricality to mosh pits, Lyhre's concerts are primarily intense. Surrounded by her instruments, she pounds the keys, moving between moments where you could hear a pin drop and writhing through synthesizers into the charged audience. Recently, she has supported international acts like Isabel LaRosa and Just Mustard and toured as the opener for ÄTNA through Germany and Switzerland. With her upcoming EP "The D(e)ad Concept," a radical deconstruction of the concept of "Patriarchy" from antiquity to the present-day techno-capitalist power structures, she announces her first headline tour.
