What's it about?

On September 20th, the traditional Kilbe (traditional fair) will once again take place in Schnepfau – on arguably the most beautiful village square in the Bregenzerwald. The festival is organized by the Schnepfau associations and the municipality, who together ensure a varied, atmospheric, and exciting program.To kick things off, the Schnepfau Music Association invites you to a cozy Frühschoppen (morning pint). Afterwards, the new music group "Blechwind" will provide a great atmosphere and lively entertainment with Bohemian-Moravian brass music.Of course, physical well-being will not be neglected: guests can expect fine food, refreshing drinks, and a selection of homemade cakes.There is also plenty on offer for younger visitors. A colorful children's program ensures fun and entertainment. Excitement and action are provided by the thrilling Hebiseweitwurf (Hebise long throw) and a spectacular air show, where there is much to marvel at.The Schnepfauer Kilbe promises a varied, sociable, and exciting day for the whole family. Celebrating together, sitting comfortably, enjoying music, and experiencing the special atmosphere on the village square – locals and guests can look forward to this.In case of bad weather, the event will take place in the hall.The Schnepfau associations look forward to numerous visitors and an atmospheric Kilbe on arguably the most beautiful village square in the Bregenzerwald!
