What's it about?

On Saturday, October 10th, it’s time again in Bezau: the traditional Gallomat! Starting at 10 a.m., the train station area transforms into a lively meeting point with a colorful market, entertainment, and a varied program for the whole family. Together, the local clubs and numerous shops organize a special market day. The focus is on meeting, exchanging, and not least, a heartfelt thank you to the community. The Gallomat showcases what Bezau and the entire region have to offer. At the same time, it invites people to experience community and solidarity. There is plenty for the youngest visitors: they can look forward to the ski jump of SC Bezau and the climbing tower of the Bezau mountain rescue. There is also much more to discover. Local and international vendors, restaurateurs, and clubs present a diverse range of offerings to visitors from the Bregenzerwald and beyond. Musical entertainment is also provided: from 11 a.m., the Dorfmusikanten will bring energy and good mood to the market. At 2 p.m., the band Pina Colada takes over and provides musical entertainment. The Gallomat is not the end: instead of going home, just continue to the football field! At 3:30 p.m., the second team plays, followed by the first team at 6 p.m. of VfB Bezau. Afterwards, the legendary After-Gallomat party takes place at the club house. For sustainable travel, the municipality of Bezau offers free transportation to and from the event with public transport from the entire VVV area.
