What's it about?
The Oysterband is a legendary British folk-rock band, founded in 1976 in Canterbury. For all 'die-hard' fans of the Oysterband and also for anyone interested in refined British music with a socially critical background and a general interest in British roots music, there is good news! Oysterband lead singer and accordionist John Jones, cellist and bassist Ray Cooper, and producer Al Scott have formed a trio that will tour with Oysterband classics and selections from the solo works of John & Chopper, and will also come to Austria and Hohenems in October 2026.
