Locktett is hear again
What's it about?
The musical quartet "Locktett" is back on stage with a new program! They will play their own arrangements, the usual mix of styles including tango, Balkan, gypsy, jazz, traditionals, and also classical music. As rich as the program is the origin and musical background of the musicians: The Greek violinist Aris Kapajannidis, in addition to his classical training, has explored various musical genres and eras where improvisation plays a major role, such as gypsy jazz, Greek music, or his specialty, Tango Nuevo. This enthusiasm for tango and various other musical styles is shared by the Bulgarian clarinetist Levent Ivov, who also originally had classical training, and the Vorarlberg double bassist Bernd Konzett. The ensemble is completed by the Bosnian accordionist Dražen Gvozdenović, who maintains a broad stylistic repertoire, which naturally includes the interpretation of music from his homeland.
