every Friday from June 16 to October 2 from 1:30 PM to approx. 4:30 PM, guided tours and saw demonstrations at the historic "Mülli" sawmill. Tours are free as part of the Luaga, Losna & Stuna cooperation between Montafon Museums and Montafon Tourismus.Outside of these times, please contact Hubert Loretz directly and please ensure appropriate appreciation and payment. The sawmill is usually in regular operation until the end of October. The old sawmill on the Rasafeibach in Latschau is named after the field name "Mülli" (recalling the grain mill operated nearby until the 20th century). The Loretz family acquired the sawmill, which had been in operation since the 18th century, in 1849. Its current condition essentially corresponds to that of 1907. In the brick basement is the impressive wooden waterwheel (4.1 m diameter), which drives the saw blade of the "Venezianergatter". The sawmill can be visited during this period. Please use the public parking spaces at the Golmerbahn Latschau or at the hiking car park; only a few private parking spaces are available at the sawmill.
