What's it about?

In this film drama, director Cherien Dabis tells the story of a Palestinian family in the West Bank across three generations. When teenager Noor is seriously injured in a demonstration in 1988, his mother Hanan begins to tell the family history. This leads back to 1948, when Noor's grandfather Sharif remains in Jaffa to protect his house and orange grove. War, displacement and political conflicts tear the family apart over decades.
