Rafting on the Lech: A river in constant change The Tyrolean Lech changes its face almost every day. Its colours change from deep blue to milky turquoise to a strong brown after thunderstorms. On the approximately 40 navigable kilometres of whitewater level 2 (WW II), the river offers a mix of lively sections and relaxed passages. Since the Lech is a natural wild river, the water level determines the character of the tour:At higher water levels: More pull in the river and more action in the waves. At lower water levels: Reduced flow speed and a more leisurely paddling experience. Depending on the conditions, you will paddle with your guide on a section of about 10 to 20 kilometres between Steeg and Rieden. We make sure that the tour is adapted to the current conditions on the river, so that the natural experience is paramount.
