Meadow sage, bloodroot, and lady's mantle the plant world in the Tiroler Lech Nature Park is famous for its extraordinary variety of herbs. As early as the Middle Ages, medicinal herbs were used in folk medicine, and even today they are still used in modern medicine. During a short walk, you will learn interesting facts about the application and effects of local wild herbs. There will also be some tips on collecting, drying, and of course, making products such as ointments, tinctures, and teas.
