Exhibition "Das Damische Aderl"

What's it about?

With "Das Damische Aderl", Kunstbühel+ will present an exhibition project between visual art, stage, and social space in the former Kitzbühel squash hall in summer 2026. Starting from the 10th anniversary of Gunter Damisch's death, the exhibition brings together a polyphonic network of works by the artist and works by former students of the graphics class at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Damisch's attitude of "both as well as" is not understood as a retrospective, but as an occasion for a contemporary questioning of artistic practice. Arrival: Hahnenkamm car park free of charge - exit ticket available or arrival by ÖBB Kitzbühel Hahnenkamm. From there it is a 5-minute walk to Maurachhof.
