What's it about?

Sarah is a successful investment banker - her life: efficient, meticulously planned, success-oriented. When her father and his Caribbean wife unexpectedly announce their visit, she promptly orders a fiancé from the agency "Rent a Friend". But instead of the confident gentleman double, Gabriel stands at the door: skater look, questionable attitude, unclear intentions. A crazy game of confusion begins - and with every lie, a little more truth comes to light. "Rent a Friend" is Folke Braband's charming romantic comedy about playing with expectations and truths - full of pace, wit, and heart. And in the end, the most beautiful of all questions arises: How honest can we be - with others and with ourselves? The gala premiere offers a festive reception and flying buffet and starts at 6:30 PM.
