About the content. A village in the Tyrolean Unterland in 1996. The excitement over a mysterious "Lügenglocke" (lying bell) has subsided, and the future mayor Filzer has just managed to prevent the wedding of Sabine and Thomas at the last moment. But he is already scheming again. He wants to steal Ignaz Gruber's "Himmelsschlüsselwiese" (Heaven's Key Meadow) with the help of some villagers and Gruber's daughter. Ignaz Gruber is almost going crazy. He can no longer stand the pretzel dumplings and must relive the same day over and over. Every day, the same villagers appear, asking exactly the same questions, and his sister-in-law Brezenklödl keeps reserving him every day. And every day, he has to say "NO" again to his daughter Hanni's marriage plans and to the village's plans to buy his meadow. Maybe he's just imagining it, or is it real? Or was he cleverly driven into madness? The madness has just begun...
