This year, the native Tyrolean again compiles a mood-enhancing and personally curated selection of traditional Christmas songs. With his music, "the way I like to hear and feel it," this Christmas concert unfolds a very special magic. Of course, the classics are included. They are accompanied by joyful new compositions such as "Bald ist Weihnacht," "Silent Love," "Keine weiße Weihnacht," "Jedes Jahr zur selben Zeit," "Weinacht'n mitanander," and atmospheric folk songs in dialect. Fans of more traditional tones will also enjoy "Der Vater erzählt," "Wo ist denn im Schnee noch a Wegerl zu dir," and "Wos eppa dös bedeut." An incredibly touching and gentle piece is "Weihnachten 1946 und heut," where the moment is cast in a new light, and our often disenchanted Christmas time today is given a peaceful melody in wonderful simplicity. "Every single part of the program is a piece of me. Just as I experienced the holiday as a little boy and love it today," reveals Hansi Hinterseer, "and it reopens the original Christmas world for us." What might be on our wish list? Things are going well for the former ski champion, two-time professional world champion, and overall World Cup winner. With his folk-style Schlager hits, the Tyrolean appeals to several generations. He is also increasingly gaining cult status among young people, and not only because of his fur boots, which are inseparably linked to his name. Those who know Hansi Hinterseer, the man behind the star, can hear the stories of a lively life echoing in his songs. His life story has set a challenging course with highs and lows, which the Kitzbühel native navigates with dance-like ease despite many challenges — with gratitude and contentment. With over 30 years of stage experience, Hansi is at the forefront and invites singing and dancing along at concerts and open-air events.
